Petros Court is situated in the world famous, historic centre of Canterbury. It offers high quality accommodation in the heart of the city and has been awarded 5* campus accommodation status by Visit England every year, since its opening in 2015. The contemporary building comprises of spacious bedrooms, within a secure environment with Canterbury Cathedral only a short 10-minute walk away.
At Petros Court, part of Canterbury Christ Church University, all rooms feature en-suite facilities and access to communal area, where guests will find a seating area and a TV with Freeview channels in every apartment. All bedrooms include free Wi-Fi, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities in each communal area. Guests can dine in the adjacent Atrium café, within Augustine House, directly opposite Petros Court. Canterbury has excellent transport links, Canterbury bus station is located a few minutes walk from Petros Court, as well as Canterbury East train station being less than 5 minutes’ walk. Canterbury West train station is a 15 minute walk away which has a high speed service enabling you to get into the heart of London in just under 1 hour. Dover is half an hour away to the South East, and the nearest coastal town is Whitstable, six miles to the North.
The Eurostar terminals at Ashford and Ebbsfleet are close by, reaching Paris, Brussels or Lille within 2 hours. There is nearby parking at Canterbury East train station found a short 4 minute walk from Petros Court. Petros Court is located in the city centre of Canterbury within a 5 minute walking distance from Canterbury East Station and Canterbury Bus station. Petros Court has 418 en-suite rooms, each containing a 4’ small double bed. The bedrooms are arranged in cluster flats, containing three to eight rooms. Each flat has a spacious kitchen and dining area, furnished with sofas, a dining table and a television.
Throughout the year Petros Court is used for academic purposes by Canterbury Christ Church University, however in the summer months we open our doors to the public to stay in our 5* university accommodation, to allow small medium and large groups to benefit from affordable, high quality accommodation close to transport links and in the heart of the historic city of Canterbury.
